UET Mardan & University of Peshawar Join Hands to Drive AI & Cyber Security!


In a major leap forward for higher education and tech innovation across KP, the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Mardan and the University of Peshawar (UoP) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) 🖊


This strategic collaboration focuses on launching specialized Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cyber Security Trainings with a dedicated focus on empowering the graduates and students of the University of Peshawar.


AI Hub Empowering Institutional Leadership

As the officially designated AI Hub of the Government of KP, UET Mardan will also conduct tailored AI training programs for the top management, faculty, and administrative leadership of UoP. This executive training will equip academic leaders to:

Navigate university governance and operations in the era of AI

⚖️ Adopt ethical AI practices and responsible technology frameworks

Drive institutional efficiency and strategic innovation

The MoU was formally executed by Prof. Dr. Gul Muhammad Khan, Vice Chancellor, UET Mardan and Prof. Dr. Johar Ali, Vice Chancellor, University of Peshawar

Shared Digital Infrastructure: Joint access to digital libraries, research databases, and academic tools to foster high-impact joint publications.

🏢 Shared Physical Spaces: Mutual utilization of incubation hubs, seminar halls, and innovation spaces.

Customized Capacity Building: UET Mardan technical experts will design specialized AI modules, backed by UoP’s administrative coordination, venue access, and logistics.
